Welcome!

In many ways, our church family is like our own human families where we share joys, concerns, laughter, tears and future hopes. Our church is a refuge and shelter from the “storms of life.”

The richness of our church comes from many elements: our Sunday School…. and the Christmas Eve pageant and Service. The United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men provide us the opportunity to enjoy fellowship, become closer, and to work together on church events. We have Community fundraising events, such as the famous Pancake and Country Breakfasts, auction cafes, and rummage sales.

Our very active Missions Committee does various fundraisers to financially support our missions. We also do hands on mission work at the Far Rockaway Soup Kitchen and we collect food for the Ridgewood Food Pantry. Right after Sunday service, our coffee hours give us a chance to socialize while enjoying great coffee and desserts.

We are a praying church. We pray for each other, for our church and community, our country and our world. We have a prayer line that takes prayer requests and prays for all needs.
